Deciduous perennial. Likes shade  
or sun and fertile soil. Can be used  
in pots.

New foliage is strap like with ice 
blue flowers. I plant it with the 
black "grass" Ophiopogon nigrescens. 

In a mixed border use alongside 
Tradescantia Concorde Grape, 
Heuchera, Athyrium nippon Pictum 
and Cerinthe. All these mix together 
very well to give you a very 
complimentary border. 

Keep an eye out for slugs.
