4Head Garden at The Chelsea
Flower Show 2006.

Green Lady takes a tumble.

Having been transported safely to the Chelsea
Flower Show 2006 to be installed on the island
of the 4Head show garden, disaster struck.

Chelsea Flower Show 2006 - 4head garden - green girl being positioned on the island.

As she was being adjusted into position she
plunged head first into the stream.

Much pushing and pulling later she was back on
the island, unfortunately a bit worse for wear
with a broken wrist and various abrasions.

Peter Hill (the sculptor) came from Cornwall to
put her back together,

The 4Head team then set to work restoring the
green lady to her former glory.

She once again looks absolutely
stunning.

A classic Chelsea Flower Show moment!

Phil Game, the guy who built the stumpery- pictured
in the centre, welcomed 2 friends who had come to see
him on the garden during the build. Unfortunately
for him he had left his boots in the stumpery while
he was working in the stream. Linda had been planting
inside for several hours and had a couple of Woodruff
spare so he had to learn the hard way.......if it doesn't
move it gets planted!

Probably the most photographed
page three girl ever.

The green girl, the centerpiece on
the 4Head garden at the Chelsea
Flower Show 2006, took the show by
storm. By Friday 19th May 2006 she was
pride of place on page 3 of the Evening
Standard. By the time the show opened
her image had been sent around the world.

Nicky Clarke is called in to trim up her hair
before she leaves Chelsea! Up until now
she has had 3 different people dealing with
her 'extensions' but she has reached such
celebrity status that she dispensed with our
services and called in the A list hairdresser.

Note: Her hair is Stipa Tenuissima 'Pony Tails'
which were not cut down in the winter last
year which gives her a natural blonde tone!
Not advisable for human heads!
