Likes sun or shade - Deciduous. 
Likes fairly fertile soil but not 
over demanding on the upkeep stakes. 

A must have for every garden - 
white blossom in spring, edible 
blue berries in summer - which birds love - 
and fabulous leaf colour in autumn. 
Can be trained as a standard tree or 
kept small and bushy as a shrub. 

It does tend to produce suckers 
which should be cut out at ground 
level if you want to contain its spread. 

Feed annually in the spring and you 
will reap the rewards in your garden border.
